Hi, I’m Miguel! But you can call me Brilhas. ✨

I’m 30 and obsessed with three things: photography, cycling, and my nephew, Benjamim.

My path here was a bit of an evolution; I graduated in Évora in Sports Science and then spent six years in Lisbon working as a Personal Trainer. People often ask how I made the jump from the gym to weddings, but honestly, it's almost the same skill: it's all about human connection and making people feel comfortable.

In the middle of that journey, I made the best decision of my life by turning my passion into a full-time career. Today, I feel incredibly lucky to call this my "job." It fulfills my need for real human connection and my obsession with light and shadow. To me, the perfect photo is just a mix of the right ingredients, and finding those moments—whether on the cliffs of the Algarve, the streets of Lisbon, or the wild coast of Sintra—is what makes me happy.

As a documentary wedding photographer, I’m not into stiff poses or making things feel forced. I just want to capture your day exactly as it happens, with all the laughs and the perfectly imperfect way of being.
