Engagement Session in Historical Lisbon | Anar + Gandab

Anar and Gandab, a sweet, introverted couple from Azerbaijan currently living in Prague, brought a refreshingly relaxed energy to their Lisbon engagement session. Instead of a stiff photoshoot, we spent the afternoon simply wandering through the city’s historic heart.

Wine and Views

After starting out at Praça do Comércio, we stumbled upon a classic Lisbon esplanade. It wasn't about the riverfront—it was about the atmosphere. They asked to take a breather, so we grabbed a table, poured some white wine, and just soaked in the surroundings. It was the perfect, low-key setup that captured their dynamic perfectly: quiet, connected, and completely at ease.

A Sweet Finish in Chiado

We eventually made our way up toward Chiado, making the mandatory stop at Manteigaria. You can't walk through this neighborhood without picking up a couple of pastéis de nata, and having them warm in hand made the climb through Bairro Alto much easier.

We ended the session at Miradouro de S. Pedro de Alcântara. Finding a spot with a view of the castle, Anar and Gandab finally tucked into their pastries as the day wound down. It was a simple, beautiful afternoon that proved the best photos happen when you're just enjoying the moment.
