Wedding at Quinta dos Anjos, Santarém | Joana + Pedro

So, Joana and Pedro decided to throw out the traditional wedding playbook and turn their ceremony into a literal TV show. And honestly? Best idea ever.

A Creative July Wedding in Portugal

Instead of a typical officiant, their two best friends became TV hosts for the day, complete with opening theme music, scripted jokes, and yes—even a "commercial break" in the middle of the ceremony where they hilariously asked guests to send monetary gifts to the couple. The crowd absolutely lost it. I've shot a lot of weddings, but watching guests laugh-cry while simultaneously pulling out their phones to transfer money? That was a first.

The whole thing wrapped up with the couple dancing down the aisle to 'Plage' by Crystal Fighters. Pure chaos, pure joy.

Al Fresco Reception at Quinta dos Anjos

After all that excitement, everyone moved outside for dinner under the stars at Quinta dos Anjos. Think string lights, candles everywhere, and those gorgeous Mediterranean gardens as your backdrop. Then a live Brazilian band showed up and the dance floor basically didn't empty until the sun came up.

The vibe? Relaxed, romantic, and ridiculously fun.
