Engagement Session on the West Coast of Portugal | Joana + Pedro

There’s a reason Baleal feels like home to Joana and Pedro. They’ve spent every holiday here, so when it came time for their engagement session—just a few months before their wedding—there was no other place that made more sense.

Under a warm, Mediterranean sun, we took a literal lap around the peninsula. As their photographer, my goal was to capture the relaxed and fun energy they share, using the very elements that make this corner of Portugal so special.

Coastal Charm & Local Colors

We started by weaving through the narrow streets, stopping by the picturesque house doors and windows that give Baleal its unique character. We spent time among the traditional fisherman’s boats, adding a splash of local color and heritage to their story.

The Imposing Atlantic Edge

To finish the session, we headed toward the edge of the peninsula, using the large rock formations and the Atlantic as the backdrop. This kind of landscape completed the session with all the elements that are special for Joana and Pedro.
