Autumn in Lisbon is magical, and Parque Eduardo VII was the perfect spot for a fun, sun-drenched family photoshoot. This session was extra special—capturing a growing family with a soon-to-be big sister and her parents eagerly awaiting their new arrival.
City Views & Architecture at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes
We started at the fountain at the top of the park, where the iconic geometric hedges and stunning city views toward the Tagus River set a dreamy scene. Their little girl played happily by the water, her giggles filling the air.
Next, we headed to Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, where the elegant white-and-yellow architecture and traditional azulejodetails made for some timeless shots. As a Lisbon family photographer, I love using this spot for its clean, editorial light and classic Portuguese feel.
Nature & Adventure at Estufa Fria
A visit to the nearby Estufa Fria (Lisbon’s Greenhouse) brought more excitement. Watching ducks and peacocks wander through the lush, tropical greenery was pure magic for a curious three-year-old! This hidden oasis is one of the best spots for maternity photography in Lisbon, offering a quiet, intimate atmosphere away from the city noise.
Capturing the Joy of Anticipation
Finally, we wrapped up at a local playground, letting the little one run, climb, and slide to her heart’s content while her parents shared a quiet moment together. It was a beautiful afternoon full of love, laughter, and anticipation.
