Wedding at Quinta de Cima, Lisbon | Inês + Miguel
Some weddings just have a different energy. Inês and Miguel’s day at Quinta de Cima was a perfect example of that. It wasn't about following a rigid script; it was about their people, their kids, and a few things they genuinely love.
The "Wedding Ring" Card
Miguel and his crew are big Magic: The Gathering fans. Inês leaned into that and surprised him with a custom "Wedding Ring" card, complete with their names and the date on the back. It’s those small, personal nods that make a wedding feel real.
The Look
Inês wore a Rosa Clará dress, with makeup by Vera Mordido. She looked incredible, but more importantly, she looked like herself—relaxed and ready to enjoy the day.
A Family Affair
The ceremony was held together by speeches from their friends, which always beats a generic script. At the end, their kids, Matilde and Xavier, joined in for the sand ceremony, mixing the bottles together with their parents to wrap things up. It was a simple, beautiful way to involve the whole family.
Samba and Tequila
The reception kicked off with a Brazilian samba band that didn't give the guests much of a choice but to move. Then came dinner—and "Tequila Time." Every hour, on the dot, a round of shots hit the tables. It definitely set the tone for what was coming next.
Florence and the Machine
The couple opened the dance floor together, with the kids joining them for the final moves. But the real party started the second "Dog Days Are Over" blasted through the speakers. From that point on, it was total energy—the kind of chaos that’s a dream to photograph.
Let’s Make it Happen
If you’re planning a day that’s more about the feeling than the protocol—where the kids run free, the music is loud, and the moments are real—I’d love to be there to document it. I’m currently booking for the 2026 season and dates are filling up. Let’s chat about how we can tell your story.
